Hi, I’m Benk, an Artist / Human. I breathe Illustration. I’m working as an artist, illustrator and animator on a range of different projects. Before starting on a series of illustrations, I write a lot. About the world through my eyes, about my fascinations, about people and about the interrelationships between humans, animals and technology. When I find myself writing a lot on one subject, I get the need to express the thoughts in a visual form. For inspiration, my bedside table is always supporting a pile of good illustration books. My eyes are often glued to ‘illustration’ hashtag feeds and blogs. It all motivates me to create non-stop.
