Katherine is a self taught artist and illustrator. She is half Japanese, raised between Tokyo and London, and now roams the globe, experiencing different ways of living whilst working on herself and her art.

She is inspired by nature, time and timelessness, and the spaces we inhabit, both physical and ethereal. She has exhibited and led workshops in Madrid, Puglia, and Goa, and her work has been featured in publications from Australia and the US to Denmark and Spain.
When not drawing, she can be found reading, walking in nature, experimenting in the kitchen, hanging around flea markets, learning about plants, finding new ways to work with her hands, or just listening to the birds.
